Week of January 30. More mudding!

Again, all interior work. Rain in January? Thunderstorms? Really? So much for changes on the ouside.....

Taping and mudding. No outside work, it's too cold!

Builder Bruce has been staying warm in his workshop, working on cabinets. The drywall was finished last week, the mudders arrived today. Probably two weeks for them, then painting, then the hardwood.

There will be substantial interior changes this week. The walls are all insulated and the sheetrock is starting to go up:

The fireplace is now all framed in (except for the hearth).

Another week has gone by......warm weather and an early January thaw! The french doors for the piano room have been installed. Interior is about to be sheetrocked!

Again, the exterior isn't changing much from previous weeks--that's winter building in Wisconsin! The interior walls are being insulated, prep work being done for ceiling insulation, lots of small details. The 8 foot front door was hung as were the back and suite doors.
