An unwelcome visitor

So, I moved the birdfeeders out a little from the yard for the lawn seeding. The dog is tied up so he doesn't walk through the seeded area for awhile. Around 11 this morning we had a visitor:

Hydro-seeding done in front

Water Feature Rock and Lawn Prepping

Builder Bruce came over with his skid steer to help us move the bottom rock for our water feature. I guess it weighs around 1200 pounds!








And then the lawn guys show up on Friday to start the lawn. Powerraking the entire yard, some by hand, and then hydroseeding, hopefully yet in the afternoon:



And then the rock pathway gets laid.....


And when the prep in one area is done, the hydo-seeding starts. Grass seed, fertilizer, and mulch mix:

Walkways and Irrigation Work

It's been a busy week. Scott has been busy working on walkways, trying to find work while the irrigation crew was here. So, a number of pictures from this week.
