Ozhige baaka'aakwenhwigamig: Moving Day!!!

The coop is done with one small touch -- the electrical needs to be hooked up but that needs to wait for a few months for the summer kitchen to be built. But Thursday was moving day. But wait, Debra had a "Camp-out in the Coop (before there is poop)! overnight party on Wednesday:

Then the final outfitting of the coop so the chickens have some nests. These boxes were from my Great-Aunt Charlotte's farm out in Dakota:

Picking up the girls and bringing them from next door:

And moved in!!!!

Coops all painted, chicken run is all constructed, ready for the hens!

Moving right along....windows in (another one added!), trim installed, and the doors in. Also started the staining and building the chicken run...
